Another great book in a Great series still some rough edges.

once again great book and great series, author still makes Mirabelle to big of a character and though mc claims no favorites the author sure writes it like mirabelle is the favorite. He also has the mc make everything a joke and at lots of times almost makes it unreadable. He claims Emaline was his first and favorite but what he considers teasing her seems downright rude at times to where is i was Emaline i would dump his ass.

Love the world building but MC can be annoying

Like the title says, the world building for this series is fantastic. I love the fleshing out of the different gods and pantheons in this book as well as the magic systems. The female characters are so great and well written. And as always, the narrators are on point.

My biggest gripe with this series is the MC and his incessant flippant attitude. I get the idea behind the character and why he is like that, but everything that comes out of his mouth is some sort of joke or put down. It makes it so I can’t understand why his love interests even stick around (and everyone even says they can’t stand him). Half the time, his jokes aren’t even funny. If this was cut down by even a quarter, it’d be much more enjoyable. By this point in the series though, it might be hard to shift his character like that. Hopefully, we’ll see some growth and maturation as the series progresses.

How the storyline is Great

This book did not disappoint. It was funny and captivating. Reminds me of the first book.
