The films of the '40s and early '50s depended on lighting and sounds to convey terror. It is a work of fiction, but the events are well within the realm of possibility. Brandon may be on a track to coming out of his hellish spiral, or he may be boring deeper into oblivion.

Gripping
I thoroughly enjoyed this psychological thriller. My heart was breaking for Brandon and even rooting for him as he was compelled to act out his fears. The author gives interesting insight as to how a perfectly “normal” person’s life can unravel. This book was well written and fast paced. Narrated by Steve Castello, the characters are brought to life by his edgy rendition and smooth delivery. Highly recommend.
