Fun B Rated Horror

This was a fun, "B Rated", 80s creature feature. This from the beginning had some great shocking scenes. Like all "B Rated" movies there is a lot of sex. I think the ending was pretty abrupt.
I listened to this on audible and thought the narrator did a great job. All the characters were distinct and had a good flow.
Overall, I enjoyed this and it was worth the time to read.

A quick horror story involving killer flies as the title reveals. It was enjoyable with a satisfying ending.

80s Creature Feature mania!

This is truly a wild ride! It gives all the outrageous 80s B Movie vibes you can expect and then some! And narrated by Sean Duregger is the bonus you definitely want going into this... come for the flies and craziness, but stay for Duregger's narration. I know my rating would be lower without his added entertainment value as well as just keeping me engaged throughout the whole book. No character is treated lightly - he implores them all with so much life. So I definitely encourage this as audiobook!

Such a great creature feature!

This book was brought to life by Sean Duregger and his amazing narration. His voice work is incredible and I could picture each character perfectly based off his different voices. The story itself is a fun B movie horror, screaming 80s horror paperback in all the best ways. There was humor, terror, sex, and some grotesque scenes- anything you could want from a book titled Killer Flies. I highly recommend this for anyone that is a fan of 80s horror, creature features, and B horror stories.

great short story

Very well developed storyline & characters. There are some holes in the story to overlook but still very good. Narration is excellent with male & female voices ranging in age & accent.

I wanted a horror story

But what I got was a poorly written love triangle. This book took me 3 weeks to finish

Classic 80’s Horror

Thanks to Encyclopocalypse Publications, the early 80’s horror classic, KILLER FLIES by Mark Kendall is now available in audiobook format. KILLER FLIES is a great example of early 80’s creature horror and is narrated by Sean Duregger with the passion and intensity this story deserves.

Not my favorite!💜

I didn’t care for this story. Some of the plots thrown in the middle of the book didn’t seem to fit within the overall storyline. Such as the love triangle that basically had nothing to do with the storyline. There was the reporter and a couple other random characters that I felt could have played a much stronger role in this story.
IMO, The narration was good but also not my favorite. I’m a huge Sean Duregger fan but for some reason this story wasn’t able to showcase his true voice acting talents.
Overall this story didn’t work for me, but this is only my opinion. I encourage anyone who might be interested to give it a try and draw your own conclusions.

Fun creature-feature and excellent performance.

Decent prose and gory kills, pretty good time if somewhat mild thrills. Excellent performance by the narrator. Recommended for fans of throwback B-features.
