And she did it again! Another fantastic book.

What I really loved about this book is the fact that it dove more into the world around the characters. I got the chance to get to know a little about each breed and their characteristics, even listening to some I've never heard of before. I believe this book would be a good first book to read going into the series blind. And as for the narrator Nicole Poole is my absolute favorite narrator ever!

Great story and narration! really enjoyed! can't wait to see how Raven changes and to see what happens next.

omg I didnt know it would be like that

the performance by the speaker is spot on and she does the voices nicely.
the story is so intriguing I cannot stop listening. at first I thought the book might be boring but than I after a few hrs it got very interesting with the different plot twist and the characters build up.
I am very excited to listen/read the rest of this series.

cliche start

it seems like all the books are just starting off with everything is Supernatural but nobody knows it. There is so much room to bring in more story if they bring things to light slowly.

Really like this book

I liked the story, characters, the plot and the narrator. I have never read this author before and will have to find more books by her. Great find New author for me to follow.

Awesome book loved it so much

This is so cool combines mages with shapeshifters vampires and ghost walkers who are like people that communicate with Ghosts. Not a book for you if you want to get right to sex, but a great and funny story

Love this author great book. Great narrator as well. This book moves along and author gets you invested in the character.

Great Writer

I am so glad that this takes place in the same world as her other books & that it tells of what became Christian after he left from Silver. I loved the character of Christian. Dannika Dark's books paired with Nicole Pool makes them come to life.

I really liked it!

I really liiked this book and will continue on with the series. The only issue I had with this is something most readers think is a "non-issue" but some are REALLY bothered by. The man who is basically the Male lead character has sex with a stranger basically IN FRONT of the main female character who he starts developing a 'sort of' relationship with. Idk why this bother me so much, but it does. AND he sorta does it again in the second book. Usually Ide just stop reading after that. I cant "like" a book while disliking a character. Hes also probably the meanest/rudest/purposefully hateful character I've read in a while. Aside from him being an A-HOLE, I'm really into the story and the other characters. I read the first two back to back, dispite my feeling for the male.

something to build on

it's a good story, kept me interested. i hope it builds in the next book
