Beneficial for any martial arts enthusiast

As an avid Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner, I was able to truly appreciate this audiobook. The chapter I got the most out of was the chapter covering Attacks From Multiple Assailants where I learned not only how to defend myself from more than one attacker, I also learned how to effectively attack them. To master this technique, as I learned for this audiobook, you will have to diligently practice three-man drills and even semi free sparring. Regardless of your martial arts discipline, this audiobook will teach you a great deal about Karate.

Learned a lot!

This book starts with a history of karate, which I found very interesting. I think it's really cool that it started out as an ancient war fighting style. With the invention of modern weapons, that style of fighting was no longer needed, but I love that it's still practiced as a way to remember and pay homage to Japanese heritage. And it's also good for building children's strength and confidence.

I got this audiobook because I saw a karate demonstration on TV. It was a great listen, It did not disappoint at all. 10/10 recommend!
