Falling fast…must be the age gap

I really enjoyed this book. Im not usually a huge fan of age gap books, but it was only 12 years, and Nikki is pretty mature for her age. As a model, she stated living life young. She certainly didn’t have a hard life as the daughter of a US senator, at least in the public eye. But at home, she was only a prop for her father’s political ambitions. Her lifestyle lead to jealousy among her peers, until it finally reached a tipping point.
Asher Dare is the best friend of Nikki’s older brother, Derek. Derek called in a favor and asked if Nikki could “hide out” on Asher’s private island until things in Nikki’s life settled down. And although Nikki and Asher knew each other, they hadn’t been close or even really friends. That certainly changed quickly.
As for the narration, Jason Clarke is amazing with all his emoting and different character voices. Samantha Cook is okay, but her different character voices could use some work, especially the male voices.

What does age matter

When you’re are splashed everywhere who do call your big Brother. Who does Brother call his best friend to get you back to your sanity.
Carly Phillips does it again can’t wait for the book in the series!!!!!!

Age difference.

Just like Asher,I had trouble with the age difference. But the character development was great and by the end I accepted that it was a good match.

Hands down my favorite book of this series!!! I highly recommend to anyone who needs a series to listen to try this series!!!

FOOD FOR THOUGHT....

But wouldn't it be nice if just one there was a series that were middle-class average people that made these love connections? People that are not rags to riches just real life.

Great book.

Asher is the CEO of Dirty Dare Spirits. When his best friend from college asked for a favor and hide his model sister on his secluded island until a scandal blows over. Asher agreed, but when his friend asked Asher to join her he doesn’t have to like it. He didn’t want to be a 21 year old babysitter.
Nikki felt violated when naked pictures of her were released to the public. She didn’t know how someone could have gotten the pictures as she never lets anyone in her home. She agreed with her brother to go to the home in the Bahamas of his friend, Asher. This way she can lay low and under the radar until the sandal blows over.
Once on the island Asher realizes Nikki isn’t the spoiled brat he thought she was a that she was something he didn’t expect.
What will happen when Asher can’t leave Nikki’s side. Will he betray his friend or follow his heart?
I have really enjoyed reading the Kingston series. I can’t was for the next one to be released. Carly has me hooked.

I was sucked in by the protector Asher from the first word. Nikki the sweet, smart and neglected daughter of the senator had me cheering for her all the way! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
