When Mustang Ridges receives a severed penis in the mail, she knows it's going to be a bad day. She's sure there's a body to go along with the penis, but she can't find it.
While on the hunt for the owner of the penis, she stumbles across a dead body. It's Jane Dough, a substitute teacher at Lakeside Elementary. The Lakeside Elementary PTO is on the case. It appears that Jane might have been a prostitute who supplemented her income with a little substitute teaching on the side. After vowing to vet substitute teachers more carefully, Mustang and her two best friends go head to head with Davina Hasselhoff, who runs the local brothel.
Deep in her heart, Mustang knows the she shouldn't shop at a yard sale outside of a brothel, but she can't help herself. They are selling all of Jane Dough's things. She's hoping for a clue, but all she gets is a concussion and a mummified finger.
What do a severed penis, a dead body, a brothel, and a mummified finger have in common? Mustang must figure it out before the killer sends her another body part.

The Series is so fun
I love the reader of this series, she's got a great read. She differentiates the characters beautifully, and the timbre of her voice is soothing without putting me to sleep!

cute but I didn't enjoy it as much as the first 2.
I will get the next one because I really like Katie Graykowski's books and Pam Dougherty is perfect for her books.
They are clean, fun books that I would let me 12 yr old granddaughter listen to.

Delightful Listen!
Just One Piece by Katie Graykowski is a fun listen. I really enjoy the quirky characters and find the humor is great. I love the unexpected twists in the story too. Pam Dougherty performs the book brilliantly. She adds the right emotions to her voice and gives the characters distinguishable voices. I love it when a narrator brings the characters to life. This book is part of a series and a standalone listen. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I will most definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator.

Loved loved loved this trilogy
This trilogy along with this book was hilarious, snarky and all around fun to listen to. The characters were east to fall in love with and I loved how the narrator brought them to life. I definitely follow this author! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Just One Piece
It seems like Mustang just can’t catch a break in her small town. Once again she finds herself a target and her friends gather around her and try to solve the mystery again. I really like how this book unfolded and although I thought this was probably the last book in this series, it left the possibility of more in the future.
