Jennifer Adams, best friend to Jacque Pierce and Sally Morgan, is spicy, outspoken, a little crazy, and human . . . or so she thought. Jen has just found out that human DNA is not the only thing that resides in her veins; she happens to share that little pesky werewolf gene, although it isn't more than just a drop. Now that she and her friends are living in Romania with Fane's pack, she is also oh so conveniently stuck with the object of her affection, the fur ball Decebel.

Drawn to Decebel by something she doesn't understand, Jen finds herself frustrated by the lack of mating signs between her and said fur ball. Not only is she dealing with that problem, she now has been informed that because of that little drop of werewolf blood in her she is now required to attended a multi-pack gathering for unmated wolves. This type of gathering hasn't taken place in over a century, but with a shortage of females among the werewolf population the males are getting worried they won't ever find their true mates. Meanwhile Decebel struggles with the emotions he is feeling towards Jen. He tries to keep his distance but there is just something about the mouthy blonde that keeps him coming back for more of her verbal abuse, which he just can't seem to get enough of . . . go figure.

Awesome, Dramatic, Romance

I loved the story and series. They're all full of drama, romance, and of course lots of drama and strong wolves! The characters keep the story alive and fun.

great story! meets all my expectations. on to the next one! can't wait to see if they really get together.

I have already read the books and love the audible.
This series brings out all the emotions.

such a GREAT series

LOVED LOVED LOVED this book....this entire series is phenomenal!! This will be my 3rd time listening to the series. The narrator is just unbelievable and really brings the characters to life. I've read this series and LOVED it as well. I couldn't count how many times it made me actually laugh out loud where the people around you think you're crazy lol and it's so very emotional too. Definitely worth your credit and then some!!!

What a dance

The Dance between Des and Jen was so very entertaining. I just wanted them to get on with it. Jen antics were hilarious though. Then finally Des admitted his mate was Jen. Sweet. Great story. Narration is beyond excellent. Can’t wait to begin the next one.

Great story!

I first fell in love with this series back in 2013, when I found Prince of Wolves. I bought it and started reading. I couldn't stop once I started. The characters are all lovable and mostly realistic. I love the witty banter between the characters and the bit of life brought to the story by the humor, love and frivolity of them. This story is so full of love that it offsets the heartbreaking moments perfectly. The characters in this series have to face so many traumatic situations and yet they still come out on top.

The story is brought to a greater level of life by the narrator. I was enjoying this story so much that, when I went Walmart to do my shopping, the book came with me. I had my earbuds in while walking around the store, listening to Jen, Jacque and Sally, along with the rest of the cast, get up to no good. These three girls always manage to find trouble, no matter where they go. I can't help but hold these characters close, like they are my own.

While the first two books focused mainly on Jacque and Fane's relationship and obstacles, this one focused on Jennifer and Decibel. These two are so different. He is all intimidating and stoic while she is fun personified. The two are the perfect opposites, which is why they are also the perfect couple. Where one is serious the other is playful. Their story came with plenty of heartbreak and sadness, but there was also hope and light. I had the best time listening to their story.

Like the other stories this one ended with a bit of a cliff hanger, so I'm eager to get to the next story, but I'm looking forward to every second I get to spend with this lovable cast.

The narrator did a better job of creating Jen's voice this time, she doesn't sound like a 40-year-old chain smoker anymore. She was a little off with her pronunciation of some of the names, mainly Decibel and Vasile, but everything else was good.

Well done to both the author & narrator.

Jen is my girl she's strong, smart, courageous, and funny as hell she's my kind of girl. I wish I was as smart and witty.

Favorite book in the series!

Although several reviews complain about the narrator...I think she has done a wonderful job portraying the many characters in the series! This is absolutely my favorite book in the Grey Wolves Series and is my third time listening and god knows how many times I have read it. Quinn absolutely brings you to tears through the words of her characters and brings them to life! On to the next adventure in this series

this was a great book in a series. the most memorable moment was when Jen and decibels bond finally formed and they could hear each others thoughts

Love the Story But...

I love the book I read it on Kindle. I started a new job and I can't read there so I thought why not listen to it. I love the story! Dec and Jen are my favorites. But the "accent" made me visibly cringe. A coworker even asked if I was ok.
