Narrator Mispronounces Hundereds of Words
Hard to get through the early parts of the book. Later on there are some interesting stories. Barry Eads, the Narrator is horrible. He mispronounces Dozens and Dozens and Dozens and Dozens of words. If he has a college education, they should all be embarrassed. He has a good voice. He enunciates clearly. His terrible pronunciation drives me crazy. It appears to me that he does not know that he is mispronouncing so many words. I did figure out many of the words he mispronounced. Some I never figured out. If I wasted time trying to interpret what he said into an actual word then I missed the next few lines. I fear that many who are not familiar with with the words he butchers, will think that his pronunciation is correct. He did improve a little as the book continued. I would not be willing to suffer through another book he narrates.
