Double Trouble or True Love

I always enjoy listening to Barbara Goss’s books. The narrator always brings the characters to life. Jared has a surprise visit from his Mom, which gets the two of them thinking he needs a wife. His Mom leaves, thinking what her next step would be, to make that happen. Jared decides that he doesn’t want to be alone anymore and proceeds to get a mail order bride. Neither knows what the other has planned and the first bride, Lia arrives. There is no spark, but Jared thinks it will take time. Meanwhile, bride two, Camille, from his Mother shows up. Awkward, to say the least. Boy, Jared is certainly in trouble now. Follow along, as the story gets more interesting and to see who he selects to be his wife. Great story.

Sweet Mail-Order Bride Romance

Jared’s mom surprises him with a visit and catches him having beans for dinner. She determines he needs a wife.
This story has some fun twists; I really enjoyed it.

Action adventure and romance!

One woman is a great cook but she hates horses and she wants to kill Jared and take his land the other woman is a horrible cook loves horses and wants to build a life with a good man. Which one will Jared choose one he picked him self the other was picked by his mom, The answer will be painfully obvious. I love the way Barbara Goss intertwined her stories from series to Series she has over 50 books and I have read all of them and I am anxious to read more she is my all-time favorite historical romance writer and her books never disappoint. I listen to the audiobook and to use the same narrator she’s been using who I love named Jamison Walker this is the first book from the double trouble Siri‘s and I can’t wait to read the next one. Please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review.

Do mother's know best?

After a visit from his mother, and a stern talking to about settling down, Jared decides to send for a mail order bride. Leah arrives, and though she is pretty enough, can cook great and keeps a nice house, will that be enough for marriage? Jared is taking it slow, making sure his heart is in it. Then it all hits. His mother has taken it upon herself to send him a wife. When Camille arrives, she zings his heart. Never has he felt that way before. But he still has Leah to deal with! What is he going to do? Barbara Goss takes us on a journey that is fun, a bit suspenseful and heart warming time! I love her writing style and know each time I pick up one of her audios, I am going to be treated to a story that fills me up. This one is no exception. With Jamison Walker bringing the story to life, it was clearly a wonderful treat!

Surprise Brides!

Listening to this story was like savouring a delicious bar of my favourite chocolate and enjoying every single moment of it.
I loved Jared’s journey to find a suitable bride and how he eventually found his happy ever after.
This story has been well written and very nicely narrated and I would like to hear more from this author/narrator combination in the future.

Entertaining

I really enjoyed this book! It was very entertaining with a little humour as Jared faces some troublesome decisions and the ladies vie for Jared's affections. Leah and Camille are both acceptable brides, but how will Jared choose one without hurting one or the other? It's interesting to watch how things work out! Good clean fun and romance.

Great!

Jared had a time when two mail-order-brides showed up at his doorstep. You will have a fun time with this one. It is a clean story and anyone can enjoy it. The narrator did a good job narrating it. He dragged me right into the characters.

Wonderful Story

I love how Jared was able to find happiness. Of course, it started with a meddling mother, but after all, mother knows best! He took his mother's advice and sent for a mail order bride. However, he ended up with two of them! What will he do? From here on, the author does a great job of laying out the storyline. There is suspense and sweet moments. I really enjoyed this book as I have all of the books I've read by this author.

The narrative was done well and easy to understand.
