Resumen del Editor

Fresh from confronting the Lord of the Vampires in the limestone catacombs beneath Paris, Jack Templar faces his toughest challenge yet as he searches for the next Jerusalem Stone, this one being held by the Lord of the Werewolves. But the narrow escape from the vampire lair came at a great cost and Eva battles for her survival. The only chance to help Eva is to continue their quest and find the Jerusalem Stones. Reuniting the Stones will not only stop Ren Lucre's coming war against mankind, but also transform Eva back into her human self. From the ruins of ancient Delhi to the depths of the Black Forest in Germany, Jack and his friends face monsters, bewildering riddles, and treachery from the most unlikely of places. Through it all, they are plagued by the Oracle's prediction that at least one of their group will not make it through the adventure alive. Worse yet, they know that Kaeden, the Lord of the Werewolves, will do his best to make sure none of them do. But they are monster hunters of the Black Guard... and they will do their duty, come what may.

Vampires and Werewolves, Oh my

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, if they like fantasy books. The book is well written that adults would like this series too.

What did you like best about this story?

I like that they did not give up on Ava even though she became a vampire. Ava has difficulties in dealing with the transformation. They work to save her.

Which character – as performed by Ben Kass – was your favorite?

T Rex. He was the most real character for his age. He acts more like a 14 year old would.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Laugh. It is a fantasy

Any additional comments?

It is best if you read the other books in the series first. The maturity and bravery is greater in these characters than one would expect in a 14 year old. The narration was good, the story is good, but it would be more believeable if they were 18 years old instead.

The last two books were better.

I think I would enjoy this series if the narrator was better, I just don't like his voice it grates on me. The story its self is good for a children's book, but like another reviewer said if the kids were older the story line would have fit better. I picked up the first four books for next to nothing and I probably wouldn't have read beyond the first book if I hadn't. The books do get better as the series progresses and I probably would continue if it had a different narrator, but I think this might be it for me. Which I'm not really in the demographic age/sex group this book was geared towards, but I do love How to Train your Dragon, Harry Potter, and Percy Jackson so I would recommend reading these to your boys if they like fantasy.
