Fantastic Small-Town Romance

The SWS is a fierce group of bada$$ women. They are survivors, kind-hearted, enchanting, supportive women who all want what is best for each other…and they aren’t afraid to scheme to make it happen. Gretchen & Vincent are sweet, witty, steamy, and utterly beguiling. Their chemistry is explosive. The slow-burn is worth the wait. They are off-the-charts hot!! It Takes A Woman reminds us that relationships are perfect in their uniqueness, can be messy and still healthy, and are worth fighting for. I highly recommend the entire SWS series. Gretchen LaRoe is the heroine we needed and hell if Vincent isn’t the swooniest hero of them all!

From the first moment I hit play, I knew Amanda Stribling was cast perfectly as Gretchen LaRoe. Amanda perfectly embodies Gretchen's stylish, outspoken, larger than life character. Ryan Dunlap is a fairly new-to-me narrator and he nailed this performance as Vincent! He brings Vincent's dreamy, compassionate, bossy in the bedroom personality to your ears. The pace and flow of this audiobook between Amanda and Ryan is lovely. I will herald all day that It Takes A Woman is a can't-miss book, and the audiobook is a must-listen!

Gretchen is a force to be reckoned with in Green Valley and Vincent is the straight-laced New Yorker that is smitten with her. Both Vincent and Grethcn believe that they have already had their chance at a great love and are happy to have a marriage of convenience. Little do they know that you can find true love twice!
