I guess the story was fine. Beverly Hills princess meets burly rough-around-the-edges fisherman. Fine. Lots of sex. Lots. Fairly graphic. All fine. Maybe it’s just me… but the “dirty talk” that frequently happened *during* the graphic sex scenes….. uh….. had me rolling my eyes. If a guy said that stuff to me during crazy good sex, I’d have to pause, look him in the eye, and say “Ssshhhhh….” Lol.

Wonderful listen while sewing

I was pleasantly surprised to find this book wasn't about a 21 year old. I enjoyed how the relationship quickly unfolded between the characters. Situations that could be drawn out into drama were made into real life. Just don't listen to this when the kids are in the room. Very steamy love scenes.

Sweet & Steamy

This is the first book I've read by this author and I loved it! I listened to it first here on Audible, then (being a I Need The Book In My Hands girl) I couldn't resist purchasing the paperback! I listened on my way to work every morning and found myself laughing, aww-ing, and sighing. Over the story, over the characters, and, especially, over the happy ending. Very steamy at times, but so sweet. I fell in love with Tessa Bailey's storytelling and am looking forward to reading more from her!!

Plot and Smut

I love when the book has a story, romance, and SMUT. This book was amazing.

Spicy but cringeworthy

The storyline was predictable but delightfully spicy. The dialogue between the MC and the performance of the dialogue was so cringeworthy though. Can we just retire “baby” as a term of endearment? Gross.

Bonkers plot, but still a fun read

This was enjoyable listen. The main climax towards the end made absolutely no logical sense, but aside from that, I’d recommend.

Who would have thought such an unlikely pair would fit so perfect. I loved this story. One of those books that just make you smile most of the time (and fan yourself 🥵). The swoony love of a big bearded fisherman for a “high maintenance” city girl was so sweet … and hot 🔥. I loved all the characters and am so ready to read Hannah’s story!

My favorite!

This book was amazing! I loved everything about it. It was super steamy and detailed, I can see how this may be too much for some…but I couldn’t get enough. I was so sad when it ended. I then went back and listened to it again immediately. I can’t recommend this book enough!
