Even though this is a Christmas audiobook, it can be enjoyed all year long, and it is an introduction into this magical fantasy world.

This is a really cute story. Isley is a 13 year old girl who has adventures that we adults only dream of. I started listening with my 5 year old daughter and she seemed to really enjoy it which is difficult as she has autism and very rarely sets for any period of time. I recommend this book for any young kids or adults that like kids adventures.

Story a little lackluster - not a fan of narration

The story was not bad, but it was honestly so poorly overshadowed by the narration. I love Susan's voice and accents, and her voices are just fine, but the problem is that I found it extremely monotone -WAY too much so.

It also very much sounded like she was reading it, which took away from the nice story so much.

A narrator can make or break it, and sorry to say this was a hit and a miss for me.
