Real History

The real history behind ASOIF is so much more intriguing and gruesome you would’ve thought GRRM was making it up if he had wrote it!

Good historical info and GOT info, a bit not in the order I would do, but good for a quarantine walk listen.

Superb Narrator; Incredible Recounting but Be Prepared to Take Notes!

While fascinated by the history, I often found myself lost. Perhaps it was SO much information that I couldn’t tie all the people, locations and events together. My favorite bits were when the author tied GOT to elements.

DENSELY packed with historical information

Loved the treasure trove of historical information, but there was no real organizational structure to it, which is an odd thing for a real fact/event comparison volume.
