Excellent. If you are preparing for the Atlanta workshop given by her dad, this gives you a fantastic summary of the process. You will do an abbreviated version of this and you won't be sorry if you can internalize this information before you go

Great Starting Point

This book is extremely well-written and avoids most of the common mistakes investing books make. It describes each topic well and concisely -- without burdening you with too much detail on each topic.

What a great explanation of a subject so many people are interested in. Great for the person just entering the investment arena and also those experienced investors who still have questions on the basics. Well worth the time to listen and read.Benefit from the emotional journey author relates while presenting her resistance, reluctance and eventual acceptance of the "numbers" of value investing.

Great Book, Gets Straight to the Point

A very good guide book for learning how to invest your money in the stock market. It is explained in easy to understand words and graphs. I really learned a lot from this book, it makes the stock market seem less intimidating to me. This review is based on an advanced reviewer copy provided by the publisher.

Best investment for your future self

If you're trying to save for retirement, or are new to investing in general, but don't know where to start, then this is a great book. The authors aren't trying to sell any scheme or program; they're just offering a common sense approach backed up by history and math. There's really nothing in the book that can't be found on the Bogleheads website (which I also highly recommend), but I found it still a great read as a concise introduction to the world of investing.

Very informative for newcomer

good overview I got a lot more out of it the second listen it has good examples and even gives detail of strategies it is a little dry but narrator does try to have a little humor here and there will listen to again great into to investing world

I loved his book. As a stock market investor for over 45 years I found the ideas and charts extremely well done. Information and analysis well thought out and explained in a straight forward and easy to understand format. Excellent book for anyone who invests in the stock market.

Excellent Personal Guide for Finances

This book is easy to read, not too long, and contains very practical advice for any physician. It’s a good one to read especially for residents or early career physicians, but has some good advice for medical students as well. The ‘live like a resident’ mantra is not a new concept, but illustrates how helpful it can be in reaching your financial goals. This book is worth getting even if you read articles on the website.
