A pragmatic way to learn aural and spoken French

By listening to the conversations in the program, especially the contractions and liaisons in the spoken sentences, and then emulating those spoken sentences by dropping the syllables marked in red on the accompanying transcript text for contractions and sounding certain consonants before a vowel for liaisons, I think I have sounded more phonetically pleasing and less mechanical with practice over time.
