I love Marissa Meyer & Rebecca Soler!!

I am a huge fan of Ms Meyer and really love Ms Soler as a narrator of her books! Her stories are just have a way of capturing your attention quickly. This book is a bit different since it is not part of her fantasy ones, but hMs Meyer's magic doesn't disappoint!

Cute Story

I choose this book after listening to the Cinder, Scarlet, Stars Above, etc. series. Which I enjoyed!
This book was good , But a little too long and didn't have the depth of the Series.
Rebecca Soler, as always brings the story to life!

SUCH A CUTE BOOK!!!

I love pretty much anything from Marissa Meyer and Rebecca Soler is my favorite narrator! but this story is so cute! the relationship builds in a way I find natural and the story is like the perfect teen beach movie but in book form! also it made me wanna go clean up a beach or rescue a sea lion! definitely recommend it! it is a light fun story!

Sweet eco friendly 💚 story!

This adorable story follows Prudence and Quint and their efforts to not kill one another, help save the animal rescue center, and resubmit their marine biology project. Typical rom-com feel. I found Prudence very relatable. Many of her character flaws have been mine over the years and the growth she makes, is growth I too have made. I did a lot of laughing and eye rolling. Her character may be hard for some to swallow, but she is just a realist trying her hardest! Quint's influence is heart warming and I can think of many Quint's in my own life who have helped me lighten up.

5 Star listen

Marissa hit it out of the park again, and Rebecca bringing the characters to life is like coming home.

high school summer romance

It's an awkward teenage romance between a Little Miss Perfectionist and You Don't Know My Story.

Prudence (Little Miss Perfectionist) hits her head and gets the ability to dole out Karmic justice - except it doesn't work on one person.

Pru is a too controlling, rude, and oblivious that people can do things just as well - if not better - than her, and over the course of a summer learns to be a little easier to get along with.

Audiobook narrator performance was great, yet Pru is just hard to wrap my head around.

Cute YA Contemporary Romance

It took me a little while to get into this book because I found the main character pretty annoying at the beginning, but by the second half I was hooked and couldn't stop listening! I would love to see this made into a movie someday. It would make such a cute rom com!

I really liked this book, it has every characteristic of Marissa Meyer, I would say it was a really nice try for her in the contemporary genre
So this story is about is about Prudence who is an overachiever but paired with the worst lab partner Quint, they face hell together during the whole semester, and they get a bad grade for it, Prudence insists that they redo the project and for that to happen she must learn to be OK with sharing the work with Quint and to actually depend on him, so she enters his world in the Sea Life Rescue Center and there she gets to know a whole other side of Quint, and as the time passes so does their like for each other

the book made me giddy and it was really cute .. but there was something in the end I didn't like and that made the ending not 100% satisfactory .. also, there wasn't any "Magical Realism" in the story, at least I don't believe there was .. just read it as your typical Sarah Dessen or Kasie West type of book and you'll be ok

Rebecca always blows my mind with her performance and narration .. she was breath taking as always :D
