A not to be missed opportunity
Rev. Dr. Jeremiah Wright is a very powerful, inspirational & controversial speaker. The former Minister for the Obama family while they resided in Chicago, Il the good Rev. Wright was judged by the media as an anti American racist among other things after the media picked over decades of his sermons for excerpts to discredit Presidential hopeful Senator Obama. (Note the conservative media had attempted to brand Senator Obama as a Muslim but his long-term membership in Rev Wright Christian church made this impossible. )
This sermon is not one of the two controversial ones which had short clips taken that had the conservative media in an uproar during Senator Obama first historic run for the President of the United States. Just listening thought you can get a good sense of what made Rev Wright such an amazing speaker.
