What started out as a youth group on a short-term mission trip to Colombia has turned into something much different. Caught in the crossfire of a vendetta against one of their chaperones, they run for their lives through a jungle they know little about. Unprepared and terrified they must grow up and function as a team, or die.
When CIA Agent McGee volunteered with his wife to chaperone a church group to Colombia, he never dreamed he’d be battling assassins from an unknown enemy. The minute he crossed the border, unarmed, he had a price on his head. Now he must protect his wife (again) and the missionary team while keeping his real identity secret. As the killers close in, CIA agents come down with a team of Marines. All hell breaks loose. The teens turn to each other as they face bullets flying, poisonous dart frogs, leopards, monkeys, jungle-rot, and murder.
They are in the wrong place at the wrong time - in the crossfire of revenge.

I don’t know if there will be more books in this series, but I hope so.
If not, I definitely hope there will be more novels in audio by this author.
I was totally hooked in to this story from start to finish. H Schussman did not disappoint.
I loved how the teens developed in to a team and helped each other.
I also love the sermons they gave.
Parts of the story had me on the edge of my seat. Other parts were moving. And then, other parts made me smile.
I also loved that the characters weren’t perfect, and that they had truck loads of trouble, but that God always came through.
The Message of God’s love and things working together for the good of those who love him, really shone through for me.
The narration as usual was spot on. Not sure what else i can say that I haven’t already said about the narration.
Great story with lots of good lessons in there.
If you are like me, and not in to thrillers normally, give these books a go, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
