Cannot gush enough!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes! As you can tell, I really, really like this series. Surprisingly, I was originally irritated by the ending, but as I have gotten older I have grown to appreciate the incite shown by Modesitt.

What did you like best about this story?

It is hard to capture a maudlin theme in a generally optimistic genre like science fiction, however when it is done well, it can be the best of the genre.

Have you listened to any of Kyle McCarley’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Meandering

It's too disjointed and meandering. I keep waiting for the story to take hold but over all its just seems like a concept that's not totally flushed out

weird pronunciation

this narrator puts the most redicullus pronunciation emphasis on certain words and names. "VolenZa" should be VoLENza. this just one example out of many.

one of my favorite book series

great story, love audio books, reader does a good job with multiple voices making for a very fun listen
