A Really Great Listen

this is the second book in the Court High Series from Eden O'Neill I highly t suggest you listen to first They The Pretty Stars Its an equally amazing listen Nd this one takes off right where December has leaned her sister is dead but the story she got just doesn't add up Talk about one overwhelmed woman going through way to much. then Royal drove a knife in her heart and she decided it was time go. What you het next is a story that is about growing up and maturing and I really love it and the narrators Kasi Hollwell and Gregry Salinas did an absolutely amazing job.

Illusions that May

Holy cow, this book is intense! Starting off right after the first book we have heartbreak and turmoil and that leads to so much more. With the huge bombshell at the end I am dying to know what is next!

Twists and Turns

This is the first series I've read/listened to by Eden O'Neill. She is a good writer with a great storyline and wonderful characters. I am intrigued with the direction of this storyline. ILLUSIONS THAT MAY picked up where the first book, THEY THE PRETTY STARS, left off. We meet a new player...Ramses. I cannot decide if he's good or not. He is definitely giving Royal a run. Of course Royal's behavior is not what we were expecting. My expectations, that are continuously being twisted, are keeping me on the edge of my seat. December's situation is so heartbreaking. My heart was heavy and I cried through parts of this book. She is so strong and brave. I cannot wait for the next book.

Kasi Hollowell & Gregory Salinas are excellent narrators. They are perfect for this series.

Illusions That May ~ Review

Illusions that May is the second book in the Court High series. This book is told from dual points of view from December and Royal. December just found out something about her missing sister, and she wants answers.

December and Royal were going to run away, but Royal sent her on her own. While she was in Arizona she was homeless and just trying to survive. She landed a job at the library and became friends with Ramses. While on her own, she was attacked and brought back to her new home, which she was not happy about. Royal didn't want her there either.

As the book goes on, December learns more information about her sister, and she doesn’t know who she can trust. Ramses returns because he was originally from there as well.

This book left off on another cliffhanger, and I can't wait to see what happens next in this series!

High school with a body count

This just leaves me so excited for the next book. December hit her low in this book but she is rebounding. We got a new character who is as sexy as he is mysterious and we have so much more to learn I’m pumped for the rest of this series. Just addictively good.

AHH!!! Hits you right in the feels

This is an exceptional follow up to the first book. The performances are amazing and I love the addition of Gregory Salinas as Royal. Holy guacamole, this one still keeps you right on the edge of your toes with twists and turns, but it isn't too much to throw you off. I adored it and I can't wait for the other books in audio!!

Court High Series

Illusions That May (Court High, Book 2) writing style and world building aspect bring intrigue and suspense to the 2nd edition of the series. I absolutely love this series and become obsessed with it needing the next audio right now. Revelation of secrets and plot twists unfold and throw a curve. Again; drops a bomb with the ending. I love December's character and strength within herself. Added new characters pique ones curiosity. Overall, a thriller plot with intensity and intrigue.

Kasi Hollowell, Gregory Salinas performed a flawless duet narration. Although, Gregory only voiced a small portion of the audiobook as most of the story is told in December's pov I still loved his performance. Kasi is a amazing narrator and her performance of December is exactly how I would picture her. Her inflection is smooth and she changes it with the emotions expressed.

I highly recommend listening to this series as it has all the best ingredients to create a unforgettable listen.

I absolutely loved the narration of this book!!! I was so impressed with how well the narrator brought all the characters to life.

It’s an ongoing battle that continually throws you through loops. We are halfway through the series and I’m waiting to see how this all ends!

A high school bully romance!

This book is part 2 in a continuing series and I highly recommend listening to this in the series order for maximum enjoyment.
The twists and turns in this book had me reeling and at the edge of my seat.
I can't wait to get my hands on the next 2 books of this series.
I adored the narration.
