A Really Great Listen

this is the second book in the Court High Series from Eden O'Neill I highly t suggest you listen to first They The Pretty Stars Its an equally amazing listen Nd this one takes off right where December has leaned her sister is dead but the story she got just doesn't add up Talk about one overwhelmed woman going through way to much. then Royal drove a knife in her heart and she decided it was time go. What you het next is a story that is about growing up and maturing and I really love it and the narrators Kasi Hollwell and Gregry Salinas did an absolutely amazing job.

Illusions that May

Holy cow, this book is intense! Starting off right after the first book we have heartbreak and turmoil and that leads to so much more. With the huge bombshell at the end I am dying to know what is next!

Twists and Turns

This is the first series I've read/listened to by Eden O'Neill. She is a good writer with a great storyline and wonderful characters. I am intrigued with the direction of this storyline. ILLUSIONS THAT MAY picked up where the first book, THEY THE PRETTY STARS, left off. We meet a new player...Ramses. I cannot decide if he's good or not. He is definitely giving Royal a run. Of course Royal's behavior is not what we were expecting. My expectations, that are continuously being twisted, are keeping me on the edge of my seat. December's situation is so heartbreaking. My heart was heavy and I cried through parts of this book. She is so strong and brave. I cannot wait for the next book.

Kasi Hollowell & Gregory Salinas are excellent narrators. They are perfect for this series.

Illusions That May ~ Review

Illusions that May is the second book in the Court High series. This book is told from dual points of view from December and Royal. December just found out something about her missing sister, and she wants answers.

December and Royal were going to run away, but Royal sent her on her own. While she was in Arizona she was homeless and just trying to survive. She landed a job at the library and became friends with Ramses. While on her own, she was attacked and brought back to her new home, which she was not happy about. Royal didn't want her there either.

As the book goes on, December learns more information about her sister, and she doesn’t know who she can trust. Ramses returns because he was originally from there as well.

This book left off on another cliffhanger, and I can't wait to see what happens next in this series!

High school with a body count

This just leaves me so excited for the next book. December hit her low in this book but she is rebounding. We got a new character who is as sexy as he is mysterious and we have so much more to learn I’m pumped for the rest of this series. Just addictively good.
