a wonderful elfin story

i enjoyed Illera's Darkiete. the author did a wonderful job in creating her characters. you could laugh and cry with them. the narrator did a great job with her voice and tempo of of each character. would read again. cant wait for next book

Pretty Good Continuation!

This book helps the 1st book make more sense in regard to its purpose.

For the most part, this book kept my attention. Illera is an interesting and strong willed female character. The author does a pretty good job of developing the characters, plot and had great descriptions.

Overall, it was pretty good. However, there were about 2 parts that I hard a hard time getting through. No matter how many times I replayed them to hear and listen, they just wouldnt absorb into my mind or I would find my mind wandering. It wasn't much, but just enough that I noticed. This accounts for the stars off on the story.

There are many aspects of the story that I like a lot. I love that Illera is a healer and part elven. I also enjoyed the world that the author has constructed as well as some of the character conflicts.

The narrator did a great job distinguishing between characters and staying consistent.

Very Entertaining

Wonderful story! First off I must say that the narration in this book is brilliant! The narrator does an amazing job moving between characters and bringing the story to life. Excellent job! The story is so entertaining I couldn’t stand it when I wasn’t able to listen. There’s action, adventure, a fight for the crown and twist and turns you won’t see coming and unlikely friendships that are formed as Illera ascends to the crown. Highly recommend as it is a great story

This is a great book in the series. The narrator done a great job with the different characters. Well worth listening too!

Awesome story

This book was awesome. I really loved Lera'a Sorrows and I really loved Illera's Darkliete Illera is fighting her fate when she doesn't want to marry the Prince of Frain and runs away but considering Lera's Sorrows and the King in it i don't Blame her. I liked the way we see her use her magic that she inherited from her mom. There was a surprise that I didn't .see. coming and I didn't figure out who she picked. Mini love triangle. All in all wh a t a great book and I can't wait to read more in this world.
