Entertaining, but lost me in the plot
I didn't get the reasons for some of the characters behaviors. I couldn't understand why Yahyah became so greedy all of a sudden as this wasn't part of her nature throughout the book. We knew that Amy was after the money and would have done anything. Jasyln, why couldn't she just leave and take Chase's advice? What in her made her need the money more than him? I just didn't get it. Otherwise, was a good story as far as being entertaining. Getting any deeper than that would be a no go.

Set it off!!!!
this storyline was great. Remind me to of the movie Set It Off with a surprising ending. Karma comes back in the end to bite the unexpected one in the rear.

underdeveloped heist tale
I listened to the audible version of this book.
This tale didn't hold my attention after the first hour. I put it down and went on to something else. A few months late, I picked it up and finished it today. And the last 45 minutes or so were the best part of the book. I think it was just simply underdeveloped in all areas. The summary was good and I had high hopes for the book. It just didn't live up to what was suggested in the summary.
