At 47 years old, I made the decision to raise my voice and tell my story of sexual abuse at the age of nine, a reality that affects millions of people in the Latino community and that, in many cases, they manage to overcome as trauma that leaves many scars. I wrote the book Yo Digo No Más because I know firsthand the ups and downs that an episode of abuse can generate in a person, no matter their age, race, origin, or color. I was fortunate to find the tools that allowed me to change my story into that of a powerful and successful businesswoman. I want to share these tools with you today.
This journey takes you through my personal experience in which you will find my life’s testimony and recommendations to let go of guilt, along with exercises to heal the pain of abuse, among other gifts.
