Not to mention that she wants nothing to do with that arrogant asshole. She doesn't care that he rides a dragon. She also could care less about his stupid beard, and his sexy eyes.

Yeah, who was she kidding? She wasn't convincing anybody.

Something Different & Wonderful!

This is definitely different and completely wonderful. Wow! Lani Lynn Vale can pretty much do anything! Dragons 🐉, Magic and true love! ❤️

How is anyone giving this a good review?

It didn't seem like the mmc loved the mfc at all. His actions and reactions to things were those of someone who barely likes or respects their partner. We are supposed to believe he loves her because he says so. His actions say she is a possession..and not even in a hot, alpha-hole way. Even in lust he comes off as arrogant and self-centered. I actually started to think the real love interest was going to be revealed and that the mmc was not her mate.

And then there is the mfc. If you hate books were the mfc is a simp/pushover then skip this. She gives everything doing all the adjusting while he gives/adjusts nothing. She is given ONE choice throughout the entire story, to finish school and she has to fight for it. She's basically imprisoned, is emotionally and physically abandoned and has to obey his wishes -in the name of protection of course. Meanwhile, he literally does whatever he wants without a care, leaving her alone and in the dark. They are not partners,, at all. She is in a new relationship, new world, newly pregnant and he can't take 10 min in his day to check in or give a little reassurance. They can speak telepathically so, there is LITERALLY no reason why he has to completely abandon her and leave her guessing..

So much in the relationship doesn't line up making it unbelievable. For example,his reaction to her having a injury early in the story is sweet and endearing. Then later to another more serious injury the reaction is almost non existent. He's in charge so his people come first, but wow. Hes so "protective" but when she's critically injured he's doesn't stay with her. Spoiler: she wakes up from a coma and he looks like crap. He explains its because he's been working a lot and coming to visit her when he gets a chance. Btw-shes in the coma because she was sacrificed to save his life. which again, was not her choice. THEN, he let's her pleasure him like 10 min after waking from the coma! There is no big relief she is awake and okay. No tender kisses or reaction to her injury like earlier in the story. He didn't even ask her if she'd like some water. Nope, she wakes up, he fills her in on how he's been super busy and then let's her pleasure him. Again, if he's protective and she's not a possession then explain this scene to me.

With all the plot and time holes the story and world also do not line up.

There is a reason why almost every review mentions wanting more out of the relationship, plot, world, etc.. We want to like this story, it begins well but suddenly its over and

Great start to this series. I really enjoyed the book and I love the sci-fi twist to it. Great listen and awesome story line.

Absolutely loved this book i found a new series and author to enjoy, its hilarious and oh so 🔥🔥 narration is perfect and they bring it all alive!!

Enjoyable story

This was an enjoyable story. I liked Blythe and Keifer and liked their story.

Blythe is a nursing student that is almost done with her studies. She has a family she loves and friends but doesn't date much. She certainly never expected to be a mate to a dragon rider.

Keifer is the prince of the dragon riders. Dragon and their riders are known of but keep hidden from the normal populous for the most part as there is a fanatical group of humans that's determined to kill the dragons and their riders.

The book description isn't totally accurate. Blythe is surprised by her connection with Keifer but isn't against it...even goes along with it pretty well overall. She balks at certain things but is fine with working things out so they can be together. I liked them as a couple but there were some parts that I didn't like as much...nothing horrible but just a few little things in the way they talked to each other and their interactions that didn't completely work for me. Regardless of that, I did like the story and was happy to see things work out in the end, with Keifer and Blythe getting their HEA. :)

I like how straightforward this audio book is. the only think about this audio book I didn't like was her pet name "draquina" weird.

Well that escalated quickly...

What I loved: Unique take. I read and listen to a lot of PR and love Dragons the most but after a bit they all start to sound the same but instead of this being a Shifter PR the Male Main is a dragon rider. I haven't come across too many of those

What I like: I honestly really enjoy Mason Lloyd's style of narration.

What I didn't like: The female narrator had these odd pauses or something like that. It was mildly annoying but I did find myself speeding up to 1.10 during her chapters.

Basically it's like this.....
I feel like this could have been GREAT if it wasn't rushed. Like, I would call this a novella or short story. Funny. Sex wasn't too much or too little. I felt like they rushed through without really exploring any of the details too much.,. Normally I don't like to skip around in a series but I have a rule about paying or books less than 6-8 hours long so I plan on skipping book 2 and going to book 3 since it is still on the Plus Cat for a few more days. I don't feel like I'll miss too much since this book was Keifer and Blythe and the next will probably be one of his siblings and with the lack of detail given I bet I'll catch up pretty quickly in book 3 from what I'll miss in book 2

I had not felt compelled to to read/listen to this dragons series.

While browsing around I decided to give it a try, and boy, was I surprised! I simply loved it!

Dragons flying all over Texas, not hiding from humanity. It is set in present time.

Awesome heroine finds hot, but thick headed hero (don’t worry, he learns!) And sparks and flames ignite!

Highly recommended audiobook!

Mason Lloyd and Kendall Taylor do a fabulous job narrating!

I am glad I finally decided to give this story a try!

So creative and funny! Loved it!

You won’t be sorry if you buy this one. It’s a cool funny story with a lot of heart. LLV always makes me happy.

I always wanted to read this series. I was not disappointed at all. This was a thrilling, enthralling, and enjoyable story. Lani Lynn Vale is an exhilarating storyteller, I can’t get enough of her books.
