A psychological Thriller that is terrifyingly real

I read a lot of psychological thrillers. Though this one was a little more mellow in delivering shocking twists & turns it had a realistic vibe that was truly terrifying. Imagine a Doctor who's twisted obsession coutld alter your whole world.. The pace was easy to follow and kept me engaged the whole time, I found the narrator hard to understand at times, I had to listen closely for whatever reason sometimes those British accents don't go over my speakers very well but headphones made that a easy fix.

I started Peter James’ “I Follow You” and immediately I was hooked! “Red flags!, red flags,” I was screaming to Alexa as Justin Avoth showed off his deeply ominous and rather sexy narrative skills. Focusing on two couples, everything seems perfectly fine… then the menacing creep factor I love so much slithered in. And to top it off, it’s British; the majority of my Audible library is. I wanted to get to the finale, then I wanted this ominous audictive thriller to continue, then… I’m on the lookout for more by this captivating duo, James and Avoth. Edge-of-my-seat? Most definitely! This is a must for avid fans of dark psychological chillers. I found this at no cost in Audible Plus catalogue. So highly recommended, I want to scream from my rooftop, “Epic, I say! EPIC! EPIC! EPIC!”

Stressful and amazing

The characters were so real and their pain so personal that I found it stressful listening to it. Having said this, the narrator was great and the story, the humanity and the inhumanity of it, was great.

THE EVIL THAT MEN DO

Although the story was just one or two chapters too long, it was still intriguing and fast-paced. The narrator was excellent, as usual. I very much enjoyed this audiobook.

Really enjoyed this book. One of the most evil villains I’ve ever come across! It’s definitely a binge listen so get ready to stay up late into the night. Excellent narration and great plot. Bravo, Peter James. Highly recommended!

Good characters, good plot, good book!

This is a really good book for those of us who enjoy both mysteries and thrillers. I loved it!

This story was wild!

It was sometimes difficult or it took a second to realize the narrator was transitioning to another character. However m, I did like his voice and he did very well in all other aspects.

The story started a little slowly but when it picked up! Whew! Great read/listen!

I loved the voices that made the story very suspenseful. Will listen again! Searching for another book by this author.
