Acerca de esta escucha
"I'm sorry for what I did to you when you were younger."
When Jane Epstein's brother makes this confession, a tsunami of memories floods over her. She remembers the years of sexual abuse at his hands. The pain. The shame.
Suffering from trauma few talk about, Epstein searches for solace in strip clubs and hotel rooms. She finds love, loses it, and loves again. Years pass before she dares to dive into the depths of her past. Only then does she begin to heal.
Though nothing can restore a stolen childhood, and nothing can reclaim lost innocence, I Feel Real Guilty is more than the raw, unfiltered tale of one woman wrestling with her demons. It's a call to arms, an invitation to survivors to speak out and reclaim their power. Epstein's story shines a spotlight on the secrets of sibling sexual abuse, providing a ray of hope and strength for those still trapped in their own private darkness.

A memoir of trials, lessons and healing
A well written memoir describing the life journey taken while she struggles and heals from sibling sexual abuse including all the lessons, struggles and acomplishments along the way. Written in a way that lets the reader into a difficult story told to educate not to shame. Jane poured her life onto the pages of this memoir and let us laugh, steam with anger and cry with her as we turn the pages of this captivating story.

The Silent Epidemic - sibling sexual abuse
A must read for all. Jane’s story tells the world what needs to be heard. Sibling sexual abuse affects many families in so many ways, but it is often hidden and or dismissed. It is life altering.
Thank you Jane ( and Steve) for your strength, bravery and vulnerability to share such a personal story with everyone by creating awareness and helping those affected by this epidemic be seen, heard and validated.
You Are Not Alone! 💜

Raw, riveting and inspiring
Jen Epstein's story left me with a profound sense of admiration. Jane's bravery and introspection in sharing her experiences of sibling abuse from the tender ages of six to twelve were both heart-wrenching and inspiring. Her journey from victimhood to survival, and ultimately becoming an advocate for others, has profoundly impacted me. It is a testament to her strength and resilience that she was able to transform her life in such a remarkable way.
