Eshe is fueled by revenge. After her aunt kills her mother and steals everything, she’s coming to reclaim what’s hers. Enter the Huntsman—meant to stop her, but instead becoming a very distracting complication. Oops.

The story drops you straight into chaos at full speed. While I loved the intensity, I did wish the beginning slowed down and expanded a bit to better ground the plot and There’s plenty of heat (PLENTY).

Treii Taylor and Myles Montgomery absolutely devour these roles. Fully bodied. Fully embodied. Fully worth it.

This was really good

I really enjoyed this one as it great balance of humor, violence, action, spice and emotion. First time listening to this author and hopefully it won’t be the last.
