Across the globe, we live in divisive times, cultures, and societies. Yet humans want to be connected—positive, robust, engaging, and fulfilling connections.

But how do we achieve harmony and connectedness in such a world?

The answer: we need a collective mindset change. One that moves from a “What’s in it for me?” attitude to a focus on “What is the emotional wake I create in my interactions with others?”

Introducing the Humony Mindset. Humony is a created word combining human, humanity, and harmony to reflect our need to build and live lives of connection, wellbeing, and harmony.

A Humony Mindset helps to ensure that all our personal interactions and individual actions are based on compassion, kindness, peace, and respect. And by accepting all others for who they truly are.

The premise of a Humony Mindset is simple:

Approaching all decisions in life and all interactions with others from a place of peacefulness, compassion, kindness, and respect is the best expression of our agency to create a better world for our children and grandchildren to inherit.

We cannot continue to allow what divides us as individuals to undermine what unites us as human beings and members of the Homo sapiens fraternity.

Every individual possesses the power to transform their part of the world. Each of us has the agency to create a better world for our children and grandchildren to inherit. The willingness to use this agency is tied to our respective mindsets.

One of the worst mistakes anyone can make is underestimating the power each of us has to change the world. As we go through our lives, we constantly impact our unique and small pieces of the world, humanity, and this journey of life. The opportunity is now for those with a Humony Mindset to create our respective impact with greater intentionality. Change the world by changing your mindset. Change to a Humony Mindset.
