Great adventure story

I really enjoyed the overall story. The only drawback for me was the preachy parts. I felt as a man it was an attack on us. The men they encountered during their trip were immediately judged to be sexist and that got old. Skip through those parts and it’s a great adventure story

Inspiring recount of a stunning adventure

This book really should be required reading for all highschoolers. And, what the heck, everyone else. It’s such a story of strength, friendship, and perseverance, that I am inspired to walk a good portion of the gun, Gunflint trail. Something i’ve wanted to do but thought that 72 was too old. It’s not. I’m making plans for next year.

Awesome story

Loved this story. There are so many stories of men doing expeditions but too few of women being adventurers. We need more of these stories for young girls to see that they CAN do anything they can imagine.

Paddling with passion

This was a very well written personal account of 2 people recreating Canoing With The Cree but with their own spin (paddle) on it. So much I loved about this book. you just have/need to read/listen to it!!

Adventure Bound

An inspiring story. It’s adventure. It’s also a reminder of, What Did I Do With My Life (when I was in my twenties)? I also like hearing the writers voice in narration.
