Funny, quirky, enjoyable read

A funny, sexy, uplifting and yet sometimes bleak look at one woman's quest to learn more about the plight of being a single woman over the age of 35-ish from New York City to various cities around the world. Narrated with engaging quirkiness by actor Judy Greer, I couldn't wait to hear more.

The narrator was great. I loved listening to her. The plot was full of twists.

I enjoyed the story as well as the performance. Even as a man I found parts I could relate to.

I love this book!

I have currently been at an all time low after a breakup from a long term relationship. This is the one book that has made me feel ok and not alone. It is truly a great read and has been something I’ve wanted to come back to and read all over again, that is rare!

It's a must listen too.

I got this book, because I heard that Dakota Johnson was in the movie coming out in 2016. This book had me laughing even though I'm not single any more I felt like I coukd relate. it's a great story and it has a lot of truth to it. I suggest listening to it.

Funny and entertaining

Really good and funny book, the way the reader reads it captures you and I could almost visualize it all.

So I decided to read the book before I saw the movie... I wanna see how that goes. I liked it. not what I expected but I enjoyed it.

Book is completely different from the movie! And much more sophisticated.
I wonder why author did not visit Russia - we had equal civil rights and women independence much earlier and had to face with consequences in 70th and find a way to how to overcome it.

loved it, will either read or listen to it again. I need to learn to love myself for who I am.

Cute Chick Lit

This book was cute, but certainly not the best of its genre. Being an abridged version didn't help it's cause either. It was hard to care about the characters because as soon as it got to the peak drama, it started to wrap up.
