Not a book

This was not a book, but a compliment CD for a workbook. It is very redundant and I could only listen a short time. I felt reaped off.

A little silly

I'm not an expert so I can't be sure of the quality of the advice... but it is unnecessarily wordy and repetitive. It's an interesting approach but it should be cheaper and it should probably be a little less annoying in its use of repetition. I can't say I highly recommend it but it is not complete trash either. It's also more of a program than a book so be prepared to spend 24 days minimum doing all of the exercises.

Save your money

Save your money and read a different book on self confidence, etc. Sorry, hate giving bad reviews...but it was poorly executed on many fronts. It's almost like he's trying to teach a 5 year old to approach icky girls!

Not ment for auditable playing you are suppose to have a work book allong with it.

Stay Away!

This book was miscategorized. It should be in the comedy section because it will make you laugh hysterically - a friend and I did just that. There is some useful information, but mostly it sounds like a college kid with a minidisc recorder reading notes about how to pick up chicks. There's no need for this audiobook to take up 3.5 hours; it could have been read in 45 minutes as there are constant unnecessarily bloated pauses.

Warning: this has no value as an audio book.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

More content. This audio is literally the author saying, for repeated 30-day sessions, basically the same thing. E.g. day 4: "now go up to a woman." Day 5 "now go up to a woman and say hi." It's absolutely ridiculous.

Would you ever listen to anything by David Robert Portney again?

Never. I like to give people a chance, but there's something really wrong here. Was it David Portney, or audible that represented this as an actual 'audiobook' when it is just a regular person, with no insight, repeating the same thing over and over?

He can talk...the point is that this author has nothing to say.

Yes. I've never written a review before. But I felt so incensed that either audible slipped up in letting this book be sold on their site, or the 'author' achieved his dream of getting paid by spending 30 minutes talking into a tape recorder and then 'publishing' it in audible.com, that I felt I had to warn the public!!!! I feel so stupid for parting with my money here.

Read this first

I have read the other reviews on this audio book, some of the things they said are true. It could have been shorter. I purchased this audio book a month ago and I have approached over four hundred women. If you do the steps each day and don’t miss a day it will get rid of any approach anxiety.
