And the court appointed prosecutor, Kaito, is the middle son of the Matthews Family's greatest foe, Hideki Tsuchiya.

Sci-Fi Comedy/Action AND Courtroom Drama? Oh Yes !

So I've been listening to this series for a year or so now and I love it. The cast of Star Layers is fantastic. Each one of the crew/firm plays a key function in the story and offer their own spice to the story.

Scott does a great job at bringing this eclectic group of lawyers, mercs, hookers, and pirates to life.

Classics in the making

Unlike the author I am not very good with my words. But I do want to say that I have enjoyed these books quite a bit. The narrator is awesome and deserves recognition. The story is entertaining and detailed and I have fallen for all the characters and the style of the story. I cannot wait for another installment!

Love this series!

Tyler and JB have been tasked with 2 distinct cases which are physically light years apart. They have to separate the team to be able to cover them both. We follow Tyler and Suzi to the Space Pirates home world to try a case in a court where the Judge declares guilt and then blasts the defendant, or anyone else who irritates him. I am ready for the next book in the series but don't think it's on Audible yet.

I just loved this series-from the first book through this fourth. Super fun read! Rich and 3-D characters, edge of your seat action and surprises! Wonderful surprises! From first to last word a super series! More please!!!
