A nice lightweight fantasy

I sped through this one. The writing was okay, and the story was about predictable but it was a fun book to pass the time.

Couldn't stop listening

I love this trilogy, I'm stuck on the main characters love affair with her bestfriend and the man who saved her. Also I want her so badly to succeed in saving what she fights so hard for, Freedom and equality for all.

Unexpected

Great story and great plot. Loved the twist and turns and the end as well as the character development.

New favorite author

This book had so much going for it that I anticipate withdrawals until the sequel. Dynamite pacing and great characters combined for a great story. This is one of those stories you are hoping to stumble upon. Both books so far are their own story... Not some drawn out unsatisfying teen angst.

I like how it doesn't exactly focus on romance, sure it does a little but their is more action and build up then that. Differently will listen again and buy the next book.

Amazing book, I couldn't put it down. Fell in love with the characters. I can't wait for the next one.

Would have given this a star over all but so disappointed that the other books are not available! I feel like I have even robbed!

So freaking fracking AMAZING!!!

I LOVE LOVE THIS SERIES!!! I absolutely hate leaving reviews but I am now because this series is that great!! And I wish they would put the rest on audio!! I've already listened to the only 2 on audio so many freaking times.... and I probably will again but come on guys do the rest...... PLEASE!!!

Unputdownable

Twists, betrayals, love, friendship, and everything in between! The tender moments will tug upon your heartstrings while the jaw-dropping ones just might make you cry. Nothing is quite what it seems, and everyone is playing by their own rules.

The ending is just tragic, I was left absolutely gutted. I'll be honest, I've been going back and forth about which guy I want Scarlet to end up with. But when she does take that leap, they're positively perfect together. Like ooey gooey goodness.

Even after the tragedy, I'm still thinking about the other two men in her life. Especially when one is more dangerous than imagined.

And that epilouge!! What in the world?! So much to theorize about!! So much to freak out about! I can't wait to discover how this will all play out.

AWESOME!!!!

If you loved the first book. You are going to love this second one even more. I can't wait for the third. Totally excited....
