Resumen del Editor

How did the Bushes, America's most powerful political family, become gradually seduced by and entangled with their Saudi counterparts?

Why did the Bush administration approve the secret airlift of 140 Saudis, including two dozen relatives of Osama bin Laden, just after September 11? Did one of the Saudi royals on the planes have any advance knowledge of the attacks?

What specifically chosen words did George W. Bush say on national television during the 2000 election campaign to trigger Muslim support? How did Saudi-funded Islamic groups propel Bush to victory in Florida, thus winning him the presidency?

The answers to these questions lie in a largely hidden relationship between the House of Bush and the House of Saud that began in the mid-1970s. An amazing weave of money, power, and influence, it takes place all over the globe and involves war, covert operations, and huge deals in oil and defense industries. But, most horrifyingly of all, the secret liasion between these two great families helped trigger the Age of Terror and give rise to the tragedy of 9-11.

Needs To Be Unabridged

This would be a great audiobook if it were unabridged. The fact is that this sort of work of nonfiction leaves you wondering about and wishing for what must have been on the cutting room floor. Too bad a book that is getting national attention (cnn, etc) is offered only in abridged format here.

Enlightening

An incredibly disturbing portrait of our current President's and former President?s tangled relationship with the families who harbor terrorists.

It is astonishing that such a compromising political situation exits in America. It is perhaps even more shocking that both big media and we the people have let this uncomfortable relationship go unquestioned.

As one would expect, his book sheds a lot of light on the ?War on Terror?, both wars in Iraq and the finances of the USA.

This is a must read for all Americans before voting on November 2.

Web

What a tangled web we weave when trying to deceive. And exciting mapping of plot behind 9/11.

How can this be happening?!?!

This is my first audiobook review. I've had good experience so far with other titles, but this title really got me jazzed. I'm definitely going to pick up the book so I can find out the full, unabridged version of the story. Michael Moore's 9/11 covers about 10% of the stuff that's in this book. I still can't believe some of this stuff. If it was the 60's there'd have to be some serious protesting/public outrage at what is going on in the upper echelons of the US government.

Review wise, the last two thirds really pick up and the dude's voice is awesome. I'll definitely be listening to this one a few more times.

Why aren't these people in prison?

Doesn't exactly reinforce your notion that all is well in the world and that all men are created equal. A great book, I learned a lot, I'd highly recommend it.

Well written and well read.

Would you consider the audio edition of House of Bush, House of Saud to be better than the print version?

I really liked the narrator and think that he did a good job of keeping the book interesting in his voice inflection. I don't have time to read so if I listen, I sometimes listen twice to garner it as if I was reading it.

What did you like best about this story?

I believe 85% of it. I can't help think that the 9/11 attack on the trade center towers was not done also with bombs in the building. How and who put those in? I wish the author was able to research that since he did a good job with his research on this book.

If you could give House of Bush, House of Saud a new subtitle, what would it be?

We pay, while they play.

Any additional comments?

I liked this book and thought the author did a good job of putting it all out there.
I am a conservative but not a Bush Dynasty conservative. Ever since I heard George W. tell about his faith in Christianity back in 2005, and who he thought Jesus was, I knew that he was deceiving people of faith, pretending to have a relationship with Christ in order to garner their votes. This book explains somewhat why he would do such a thing. I think the only thing the Bush's seem to believe in is power, money and keeping their Dynasty going.

It truly makes me sick that our country has been put through so much war upon war. Americans are used to war and so the majority think nothing of it. Ya gotta give Bush's the credit that they really pulled the wool over our eyes for a long time. It is embarrassing actually that they continue to get away with it.

Year after year it is just to cover up the cover ups. All that the last Presidents in the last 105 years has done is play games with the power they have over so many. They certainly don't have a conscious. What they have is all the power over so many along with truly corrupt men who work under them that love these war games.
It is a wonder America has survived this long.

BEST BUSH-GATE BOOK

This is the best of the books about bush and the wars. The depth of research is impressive. The facts that F 911 is based on. The author was interviewed in the movie. This book explains a lot of facts which are widely known and accepted by both left and right but whose context is missing, like the Saudi escape planes. Much better than bob Woodward?s plodding prose, this is an easy listen. Instead of a litany of bush's stupidity this book explains the history and motivation of the political policies of the bush presidency, complete with personal details. Understand the criminal sale of this countrys presidency to the Saudi slush fund to the detriment of both the us and the Saudis.

Recommend this to everyone you know!

I believe the information in this book to be truthful. I think the word should be spread about the corruptness that has gone on. Anyone who thinks the Iraq War is not about Oil should give this book a good listen. It's appalling. I hope the Obama administration investigates Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld for all of thier lies and corruption.

House of Bush House of Saud

Incredible account of what happened within the Bush family over many generations. The relationship between Bush and Saud is criminal and it is my hope that someday they will be prosecuted for what they did.
