Many hours of art and wit.

Such a treat. Enjoyed all of it. Some pieces more than others of course. I like to have words in my head other than my own as I work and these words kept me engaged constantly. Would have been nice to have the chapters listed by title because I’ll certainly revisit favorites.

After reading him for decades, listening to this brilliant man read to me is a surpassing pleasure. Thank you!

Didn’t want it to end

I listened to this book each night as I painted. It was so wonderful that I didn’t want it to end. But sadly, it ended.

needs pictures

The writing is great, that isn't the problem. The problem is that it doesn't make a good audiobook - i kept having to pause the book, stop what I was doing, and google the work of art being discussed. Discussion of visual art is not the best subject matter for an audiobook in my opinion.
