Have to Read the book.

I wanted to listen to this book, but couldn’t get through the audiobook reader. The content seems great and informative.

amazing I listen to her podcast and enjoyed it I thought I should give it a listen. This has helped me get going and I can't thank her enough for writing this.

Well researched

How much research was packed into this book. I’ve read quite a few books on homeschooling including homeschool bravely and dumbing us down, and this one really was awesome. I couldn’t stop listening to it and it truly resonated with me. I highly recommend it for anyone on the fence. I recommend it even for skeptics who don’t understand the choice! It’s so well written and full of great information.

As a mom forced into homeschooling and yes I mean forced by my middle child’s therapist that wanted him to continue ABA therapy full time and dealing with the struggles of my oldest daughters IEP and 504 plan, I first went down the rabbit hole on social media where I found Christy-Faith and all her videos. She has helped me feel more comfortable about this decision and even thankful that we have to for our family, there is no doubt in my mind now after reading all the information in her book that this is what’s best for my children and my family. This has not only been a guide for me being new to everything in the homeschool world but has given me insight on all the history behind the school system and I feel better prepared to defend this decision for our family. THANK YOU for making this book and helping moms like me.

Huge Disappointment

Incredibly disappointed. I read this book with genuine interest and curiosity. This book is openly agenda driven. There are no facts, she uses only fear tactics and exaggerations to “convince” you to homeschool. Skip this one.

Skip if already homeschooling

As new homeschool parents, we were searching for a practical guide to help us navigate this journey. Unfortunately, this book felt more like a lengthy argument for why homeschooling is a viable alternative to traditional schooling rather than offering actionable advice or resources.

If you’ve already decided to homeschool, you can skip this one—it doesn’t provide much value beyond validating your choice.
