This is book 2 in the series and focuses on the co-hosts of the reality show that will be renovating the bar, The Fix on Sixth. The kicker...they were once engaged...to each other. Can they work through the hurt and angst to make the show a success? Will Brooke tell Spencer the real reason that she walked away 5 yrs ago? There is quite a bit going on in this story but I did not feel the chemistry between Brooke and Spencer. Brooke's father was a grade A jerk as well and it took her quite a while to get a backbone. That said, it's still worth the listen, if only to follow the man of the month contest and catch up with the other characters from book 1.

second chance at the first love

Spencer Dean (story starts in the epilogue of book one) remodeling a home in Austin. 15 years old when Richie, his brother, was arrested. Moved back to Austin 6 months ago. Mansion makeover.
