Growing up as part of one of the most ruthless families in the world was bad enough. Being blind is worse. Instead, though, I crave that connection with someone. I crave the love and affection they share, but with my lifestyle, I ain't holding my breath. Then I see her, an Angel, my Angel. Dirty and broken down, locked in a cellar, and I know she's mine. Mine to save, mine to protect, and mine to cherish for the rest of our lives. Now my only goal is to find the one who needs to pay for clipping her wings.

Loved this story

It’s rare you see main characters with major differences or disabilities other than adhd or anxiety. Izzy, despite her circumstances growing up, has a heart of gold. Being blind and having a family that didn’t like her she struggled just to survive but despite that she puts her neck out there. I loved her strength and her character.

This is an instalo love with heat and action and some moments that will have you biting your nails! Loved this storyline and everything that happens!

Couldn’t ask for a better set of narrators! They are fabulous !

okay now they are to cute together, but man this poor girl did go through some bad stuff. but I'm glad she finally found herself a good man. she deserves all the love she got even with her new family.

Surprised by the blind FMC

This is my first time listening to a book by Jaycee Wolfe. I was pleasantly surprised by blind fmc a bada$$ in her own right. And the mmc unconditional love at first sight. I will now be on the look out for book 3. As for narrators Bridget and Jake Bordeaux great performance. Love the energy they bring to the characters.
