The use of some words too often

This was hard to follow though I was doing yard work and was in the pool. Too many words, descriptions, or ideas were used over and over again. The switching of narration also led to the confusion.

Bland and repetitive

To cover makes it look so much more interesting, but it is very bland and boring. Author used the same vocabulary in the same phrasing multiple times and it seems like it was just copy and paste it from before. Doesn’t help that the narration is without any emotion or character.

Very descriptive of surroundings & characters.

A couple parts and/or phrases were repeated verbatim especially in the last chapter. Both characters overthought & lost in their heads too much.

Meh

This story is what it looks like when you have to reach those 5000 words on an essay. Confusing and found myself wanting to skip past the repetition and drag out of what should be a simple description.

The cover art caught my attention.

This book wants to be a good story. it has the makings of one. The author used the same phrase just worded differently multiple times and it made the story seem repetitive in nature. In some instances it felt as though I was waiting for the story to pick up.
