ADDICTIVE SERIES, RECOMMENDED! GREAT NARRATOR!

Entertaining and sometimes emotional story of a rag tag group of fiercely protective friends thrown together in a spaceship of unknown origins. Yes unknown until now that is. And we get to meet our newest member Raisa, who, like all the other crew members brings that special something to add to the already eclectic bunch. I love this series, the characters have good hearts, strong constitutions and an interesting story in their background. Recommended book and indeed the whole series. Narration is just right and lets you hear the story and see the action and humour.

Jackson and Raisa

Instead of hiding on the ship to escape Federation soldiers, Jackson, a former soldier, goes to the rescue of a damsel in trouble. He is drawn to Raisa and wonders if she might be the one to break his part of the curse. When Raisa recovers, the crew discovers she is a mechanics genius. She agrees to help get the ships systems working at full capacity. While searching the ship to find what’s causing the drain on the ship, Jackson and Raisa find hidden chambers, odd machinery, aliens in stasis, and sizzling romance. Will Raisa and Alexis be able to use what they find to fix the power grid? This is another interesting Space Lord story. There are a few changes to the crew and a different ship. The crew, who consider themselves family, is boisterous and funny, protective of each other and loyal. There is adventure, revenge, discovery, and romance for Jackson and Raisa. There is also more trouble with the Federation for Jackson than he thinks. It may not be easy to work it out. Great narration by Michael Ferraluolo.

Raisa and Jackson

I loved this story. The characters are so cool. The way they interact is entertaining and fun. Raisa and Jackson are a interesting duo and I enjoyed their journey. This was a great listen and has the perfect ending. The narration was good.

Raisa

This can be read as a stand alone, but it is better if you read the series in order. It is a sci-fi, action based romance. Jackson had a rough childhood, and is ex-military. He is a good guy, who happens to be a space pirate. Raisa is a damsel in distress, and is rescued by Jackson. Suddenly Jackson is a wanted man, with a warrant out for his capture. He is being used as a scapegoat, accused of murder, which he did not commit. He is convicted without trial and executed by poison gas. But did he really die? Love the addition of chocolate. Who would have thought chocolate would still be so highly sought, and so difficult to obtain. Story was good, with well developed characters. Narration was well done.

There's something about the way Jackson says "No"

This crew of Space Pirates has a lot of fun as they get into scrapes during their adventures.

Jackson's story highlights all the best qualities of this crew, their tendency to help the underdog and those in trouble, their penchant for rescuing strong women having tough days... they run their ship hard, making repairs as they go, and sometimes the "that'll do for now" nature of their maintenance catches up with them.

The narration is fun, especially when the crew is teasing one another, those scenes truly come alive.
