Better than the first

I really wish they offered this in dual narration with the virtual voice, because the female parts told in a male voice are awkward to listen to. This had a better storyline than the first book. The smut was more of an afterthought, which was fine for me.

AI narrative. Pretty good for a male voice. Good story. Jason finds his girl and a baby? With a fiancé?! It’s holiday themed. Conflict and resolution. Second chance to a desired future.

A baby for Christmas

Jake tracked Teagan back to her hometown. One night will never be enough for him. When he finds out he's a daddy, he couldn't be happier. But she has a fiance so they are a no-go. No matter. He'll have them all over for Christmas, a gift of baby love to his parents. Plus he'll be able to look after Teagan, an area in which Chris is slacking. Only when Chris's true colors are unearthed will she allow herself room to fall for Jake. An awkward introduction to the family but it all works out in the end. And she couldn't do better than Jake, who looks after her welfare in all ways. A little steamy when she finally gets more than two winks of sleep.

Not very good, virtual voice

The book itself is fine, but the audio is terrible. I should have paid attention to who the narrator was, versus just adding it to my listening.

robots aren't meant to be audiobook narrators. it's a no for me. the story was meh at best
