When the officious man refuses, she takes matters into her own hands bringing her the startling discovery that behind the Highlander’s mask of dislike for her lies a compellingly complex man who willingly charges into peril to save her. At each brush with danger that ensues, he’s there to aid her, filling her with hope that despite the feud that brought them together, she may have finally found a family to belong to and a man to trust and to give her heart.

I've just listened to this book for the second time, and still love the story.

Romance, love and healing

Now this is a really great story. It did have some painful and horrible moments but did show the power of hope, forgiveness and most importantly, love. Narrator did a terrific job speaking the words written by a great author. Totally recommend and a very interesting story with a couple of twists. Well worth your time!!

I love all of Julie Johnstone’s novels. She is one of the best authors I have ever read.

The swimming lessons

I loved it all. The characters were well defined, and the message was clear. You can’t judge a book by its cover.
