The narrator made a great book even better!

LOVED IT! Listen to this book, you will not regret it.

Once again Kevin O'Brien has done it. He is a very talented author. The story is unpredictable, which I love, it sucks when you can guess everything that will happen in a book. This book was scary, dark, sad, heart wrenching and also funny, just because the narrator is so talented and emphasizes character's voices so uniquely. This is a definite listen for sure, you will not be disappointed.

Never a dull moment

Very suspenseful. The voice of Stuart could make you visualize what he’d look like. Scary thinking there are this kind of crazy people in this world.

Master of suspense

I kept wanting to turn a couple of pages to peek ahead, which is a disadvantage of an audiobook. Lots of suspense as well as twists and turns. It took me a bit to get into the narrator, but then he was part of the story, pulling us along as the author is weaving his plot lines then pulling them together.

Not finished yet - But LOVE Kevin O’Brian Books

I am now on the 9th book by Kevin O’Brian and while I still have 7 hours to go, I am completely sucked in….AGAIN and already leaving a review. Who needs to shower or sleep? I’ve binged listened to 3 in the last 5 days. I particularly like Jonathan Yen as narrator as well.

Riveting

Where do I start with this one? WOW this book really blew me away. The twists and turns were just enough to make it believable.

So well written, and the narrator was amazing! I got the creeps every time he slipped into the coach's voice.

Great Mystery/triller just one problem

I love this author books
The only thing that I do t like without exception is the reaction of the characters after losing a loved one.
They are kind of continue their lives without any impact , grief or emotions which really bothers me , other than that I can’t stop the story.

O’Brien is the Bomb Diggity bomb!

I rarely write reviews, but I am an avid mystery/suspense reader and Audible listener. I was addicted to O’Brien’s books right from the first. Now I’ve listened to everyone. I feel like I’m going through withdrawals. When is he gonna write another? His books including Hide Your Fear are not for the faint hearted. However, you will stay up for hours listening to them or reading them. The narrators are fabulous. You imagine yourself in a movie. My dreams have been terrifying and vivid because of his books. I love the way that O’Brien is so detailed, you can imagine everything that is happening and you feel like you are right there. I literally have sat in my car in a parking lot, listening to the next chapter. My dreams have been filled with the nightmare he creates and when I am not listening, I cannot wait to get back into my car or on my Audible to hear the rest. I especially like that his books are primarily established in the Northwest and I can relate to that area since I live there. I will say that his books are not for the faint hearted. But if you want vivid detail excellent narration and can’t put it down, can’t go to sleep kind of literature you will love O’Brien’s books.
