Titles Doesn’t Fit the Story

I give the story a solid 3.5. I enjoyed most of it but parts dragged out too much. Way to much introspection and assumptions from Sebastian and Daisy characters. Sebastian wasn’t a rake at all. I think the sex scenes are well done but a bit long. I don’t recommend using a credit for this book but I would purchase the audio on sale.

This series is so much fun

The characters are so fun the plot twists, exciting to see develop in the narrator. Does a great job bringing the characters to life.

Sebastian and Daisy

He gave up spying for her and she risked her life to be with him. They still loved each other during their time apart. There love for each other came back stronger.

Never going to read this author again.

The lead female character in this story was so maligned and not believed as to be outrageous. Never again will I seek out this author.

Narrator sucks

Sorry, you can't narrator three stories with the same voice for each new character! I don't know which story I am listen to, they all sound the same because the narrator has the same tone for each male character and each American female character.

GREAT BOOK

I've read several and are enjoying them all. The historical novels always intrigued me.

GOOD

This book, to me , was good, not riveting, but good. The idea of the book was interesting, spy romance. But too much sex in my opinion in the beginning, but I guess that was important to the storyline of the inner-primal struggle of men with lust. The narrative was also good, only I feel this narrator struggles with emphasizing the wrong words in a sentence & it becomes distracting for me but her male voices were excellent, no trouble distinction between two sexes. This book is worth the time listening to.

A lot of blah

I live the stories but this one had so much blah ,blah ,blah. Narrator drives me crazy the way reads .

OK but too Repetitive = too long

The plot seemed interesting at first, but I listened to 11 chapters of the book and gained no ground. The author just repeats the exact same inner dialog every chapter. However, the story finally begins to reveal itself around ch. 12. While I believe editing would enhance the enjoyment of the book, I still liked the love story that built between these two. Also, the anticipation I felt trying to figure out how he would save her was fun. But geez, there were a ton of sex scenes. Those scenes became repeatiative, too.

Also, I'm not a fan of this narrator. She is ok, but the sluring of the words is distracting.

Okay

I was expecting a whole lot more bomb plot spoiling and excitement. This is more 80/20 romance.
