Can’t stand the main female character

I’m having a hard time getting through this one because the main female character is awful! She was so superficial and downright jerky to Ryan. The character of Ryan deserves a different love interest and in that vein he should have moved on to more decent person. I actually would have been happier if he moved on and this was a book of caution towards being too judgmental and close minded.

Romantic and sweet but a bit trite

If you like fairy tales this is a good one. I kept wanting to love it but couldn’t get past Brontë the protagonist and how dumb she appeared to be. It took her way too long to figure out her feelings. It was easy to figure out where the story was going and where it would end. Just like an old-fashioned fairy tale. That said, I wouldn’t recommend it wholeheartedly because it became wearying as Brontë was stuck in a dream world and it dragged on and on! I was happy when it ended.

Great story

Very good story, the heroine has high expectations based on fantasy wishes that do not relate to real life and has to come to that realization. Loved it.

real love

This is for those who think they want a fairy tail romance when real love is at ther back door. It is an innocent and clean romance.

The girl’s kind of a jerk and snob. A dentist?! Ewww! An unemployed man child? Only if he’s rich and handsome! 🙄 Typical modern girl who’s overly high expectations have her shooting herself in the foot. The book was pleasant enough thanks to Ryan and Mr. Darcy, but the MFC should’ve figured things out faster. How many excuses can you give a person before you open your eyes? Nevermind how she expected everyone to read her mind. She could’ve been honest and stuck up for herself. So painful.

Great narration though. Accents and both genders were well done.
