Even better than the print version!
To read a person’s story of God’s faithful, merciful work in her life is a privilege. To hear that same story from her own lips connects me with the emotions and truths of the story in a deeper way.
Wendi writes well, and I have enjoyed reading her blog, The Cover of His Presence, for years. What a privilege to hold her first book and enjoy the way she wove her own story in with the stories of women from the Bible who connected with God and learned about his character! I love the parallels she found between Old Testament women and New Testament women in each chapter. God’s character and his desire to connect with us do not change.
I am truly glad she recorded the audiobook, because I love to HEAR her tell me these stories and what they reveal about the character of God. I am encouraged to share my story of God’s faithful, loving work in my own life.
