And I couldn’t fight the force that pulled me to her. Things weren't supposed to go this far. I was never supposed to fall in love with the girl that I met on a game show.

Cute story/narrator has great potential

This was a super cute story! A little slow in a few places, but the flow picked up! I believe this is a new narrator and she has a great range of voices for the different characters. She will be one to watch.
This is the 2nd book I’ve listened to by Jenay Balderas & she develops her characters well! I would love to see a book about Monte’s best friend &
Sami’s friend circle relationships!
** there were a couple of editing errors where the old version of a retake was left in, and a line was read twice.

it was pretty good

it was a pretty good story, it dragged on in some spots but not enough to make not want to pick it up again. it was funny, and cute.

This was my first time listening to a title by Jenay Balderas. The story was pretty good. I did like the concept of the gameshow, as well as the fact that it happens as I've always believed shows like that actually occur. (Trying not to spoil things.)

I love that Sammy is taking back her life after a difficult situation. Monte learns a lot along the way as well which is easily seen in the progression of the story.

The performance by Jynelle Brown was really good. There was a clear distinction between all the characters, and I could envision them and their facial expressions/attitudes when they spoke. I really enjoyed listening to her read this. There were a couple of spots where it sounded as though a retake was left in the audio during production, but I could be wrong since I didn't read along as I listened. When I searched for her name, this was the only title I found, so I think she's new on the scene and will be one to watch as she grows in her craft. She did an amazing job bringing the characters to life for me, and her voice is definitely easy to listen to.

Super cute!

This story made me laugh and swoon. It was the cutest rom com with a lil spice. I struggled with the narrator, but so glad I stuck with the story. Really enjoyed the words.

Cute story!

Usually I’m skeptical about NTM narrators. I know that the author writes great stories so I decided to give it a shot. I’ve also listed to a book by this author with a NTM narrator and it was great. I loved the overall story and it’s because of this reason that I stuck with this book. The narrator almost made me not want to finish. I just couldn’t get with her voice. She paused too long in some parts and sometimes she repeated sentences that I know weren’t written twice in the book. I would recommend it, but just beware of the narrator.

Great Characters!

I enjoyed this book. I loved the way Jynelle was able to bring the characters to life and make them very believable!

The story was ok. The narration was pretty bad. Her main voice was good but the other characters were horrible.
