Great series

This author is one of the extremely few that I will read contemporary romance and she never fails to keep me pulled into her storylines. The characters and world building were spot on for this short sweet read. While this book is in a series it is a stand alone, but why would you want to miss out on other great books. There was something about this narrator that just rubbed me the wrong way. The guys of the story were really hard to tell apart

Not enough

Hazel's living her dream. She's the lead singer of her band. Even if they never make it big, she's doing what she loves most. She almost has it all. If only her bandmates felt about her like she feels about them. If she could have her music and the love of her bandmates, life would be perfect. Sometimes dreams do come true.

I am a Laura Greenwood fan. I like this series. I did not love this one, however. There wasn't enough story and there was no connection between Hazel and Jonas, Reed, and Blake. For heaven's sake, they forgot about her and left to go party after the concert! Then the 4th gives up too much too quickly for a virtual stranger. This one just didn't work for me.

Kyo Sija was the highlight of this for me. She managed to bring more character into the story than expected. #AudiobookObsessionReviewer

Perfect narration, fun, quick story!

This was a super quick read and it was a great choice to keep me company while I did some baking, cooking and housework!

Hazel was down to earth and relatable. There were a few elements for me that weren’t exactly plausible but as it went on, this pretty much fell into the background and overall it was fun.


The narration was absolutely perfect, Sija has become a favorite narrator for me.

3.5 -star story.

I love this story and characters!

This is the first audiobook that I have listened to by Laura Greenwood and I have to say, I really enjoyed it! I loved the story and the characters. The narrator was fantastic and I love her voice! I would recommend this book and audiobook and will be listening/reading more from this author!

I'm a paranormal girl normally but I love Laura's books so checked this out it's an amazing contemporary book! great steam and characters didn't even miss the paranormal aspect for me! just great story!!

Okay reverse harem

As with the previous story from this author I felt the writing style is too easy and naive but that’s just my opinion.

The storyline is great and there’s some good love scenes.
No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings.

Narrator:
My previous experience with this narrator was not good but in this story she sounds better. I’ve experienced that before with narrators so I’m not surprised.
Clear pronunciation and read with feelings.

Narrator ruined the story for me, unfortunately

Out of the ME series, this one was unfortunately my least favorite. The story was ok, unlike the other 2 stories that sucked me in from the beginning and I wanted to learn more/was sad the stories were developed more/longer. I am not sure why, but I couldn't connect with this story like I usually do with Laura's books. I think the storyline was a tad predictable and I don't know how I feel about the 4th in the harem. I didn't think there was enough between him and the MC, compared to her bandmates.

The narrator I think detracted from the storyline so I couldn't give anything above a 2 star for her performance. Her inflections were off and I was not a fan of her tone. There were moments which were good, but it wasn't the majority of the time. I think what sealed the deal for me was her voices for the guys. They grated on my ears and it was hard to tell the guys apart. I feel horrible for saying it but her male voices had me thinking of skipping through the audiobook (which has never happened to me before).

I love Laura Greenwood's stories and almost every single one of them that I have listened to on audio, but this one if my least favorite audiobook since getting audible last year. I wouldn't be able to recommend this one (but would the countless others she has).

Short and Sweet

This was a cute short and sweet RH story. I think it has good bones for a full length book or even series. But for what it was, I enjoyed it. It was a nice quick listen.
